Hypnosis is a technique, or a method, that has existed for all recorded history and, despite myths and misunderstandings, it is a natural approach to dealing with habits, relaxation, stress management, weight reduction, smoking cessation, depression, fears and phobias, and anxiety, to name just a few presenting problems. It is more of an art than a science, and all practitioners are not the same.
Pretty much everyone can be hypnotized-if they want to be. Some folks go deeper than others, which effects how easy it may be to bring about the desired changes, but hypnosis, if done well, will never hurt.
I usually record hypnosis sessions, for the client, and it typically reinforces the suggestions. Overall, hypnosis should be considered, as an adjunct or a primary intervention, when approaching many presenting problems-and it’s fun!Treatment Methods
